Worli- Chaos reigned for a while in Worli when residents witnessed four snakes lying in the middle of the road. Immediately, police and snake rescuers were called and two of the reptiles were successfully captured. Two however slipped away. “Around 12.30 am, I got a call saying four snakes were spotted at Worli. When I reached the spot, I managed to catch all four but somehow two snakes slipped away. The female snake is 5 feet long while the male snake is 4 feet long. Both belong to the spectacle breed. Currently, these two snakes have been handed over to forest officials,” said snake catcher, Murlidhar Jadhav. The police have meanwhile to be alert - two of the snakes are still on the loose.
