After the controversial photo was posted on Facebook by a youth due to which the situation in Trombay turned tense two days ago, and led to 15 policemen and 20 people getting injured, a senior cop has been transferred out of Trombay.
The youth who posted a controversial picture on his Facebook account has been put behind bars and 31 people as well, for attacking the police station. Police are in search of others who were also involved in attacking the police station.

However, on Wednesday, the Home Department transferred Trombay police station senior police inspector Appasaheb Konoor to the social Branch, claiming that that it was a major incident. Senior police inspector of Crime Branch unit 6, Sunil Gaokar will be taking charge of Trombay police station.
