IAS officers' son commits suicide at Malabar Hill

The 22 year old son of senior IAS officer couple Manisha and Milind Mhaiskar allegedly committed suicide in Mumbai on Tuesday morning at Malabar Hill.

According to the Malabar Hill police, 22 year old Manmath, an only child, left his Marine Lines home between 7 am and 8 am this morning, saying he was going to visit his friend 'Agarwal'. Around 7.30 am, the Malabar Hill police received a tip off that a young person had jumped from the Dariya Mahal building in Malabar Hill. Police officers who reached the site found Manmath in a pool of blood with serious head injuries. He was rushed to the JJ Hospital, but was declared dead on arrival. A post mortem is currently in progress.

Milind Mhaskar is the Vice President and CEO of MHADA whereas Manisha Mhaiskar is the Principal Secretary of the Urban Development Department.
