Infant kidnapped, sold, found within 12 hours

Malad-A five-month-old baby girl was kidnapped from a slum in Marve road , Malad west and was allegedly sold in Mankhurd . Within 12 hours this girl was so allegedly sold thrice . Finally, police acted on her parent's complaint and with help of CCTV arrested 7 people including 6 women and rescued the infant.the mother identified one of the women from CCTV as Arti who was a family friend . Police arrested Arti along with two women and one man from Ambujwadi . Arti told police that she has sold the baby to a woman in Mankhurd . When that woman was contacted she told that the baby is been sold to another woman . And that another woman had sold the baby to another woman . Finally, police arrested 6 women and one man and traced the baby girl as well
