The Dindoshi police arrested a 35-year-old accused who molested a minor girl by grabbing her hand and dragging her out of her house to apply colour during holi celebrations. It has been alleged in the complaint that the accused beat up the victim girl and her mother when she opposed him. Dindoshi police are investigating further in this matter.
In Malad, the 35-year-old accused started dragging the victim outside the house to colour the 16-year-old girl. When she refused, the accused got angry and started abusing the victim by beating her. After that, the victim girl's mother was also beaten. When the victim's father and uncle also tried to stop him, the accused abused and beat them too, it was alleged in the complaint.
The incident took place on Monday night around 8:30. After the victim girl complained about the matter, the Dindoshi police registered a case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Abuse Act and arrested the accused.
