On Monday, a man tried to commit suicide outside the Mantralaya in Mumbai. Baban Jhote, attempted suicide by pouring kerosene. However, he is safe now and the police have taken the man into custody.
It is being said that the man is a worker in the Dhule Municipal Corporation and a resident of Dhule. He was recently suspended from his job. However, there is no official confirmation for the same.
Earlier, there have been multiple suicide attempts near and in Mantralaya due to which the Maharashtra government had to increase the security outside and install safety nets inside the building.
