Two workers who worked in a company in Rabale MIDC for eight years became good friends. However, on Sunday night, for some petty reason, one stabbed the other with a hexa blade, resulting in the death of the other due to profuse bleeding. In this regard, a case has been registered at the Rabale MIDC police station and the police are searching for the accused.


The name of the accused is Avghesh Sridhar and the name of the deceased is Ravindra Suradkar. The accused and the deceased worked as a company worker at Satramdas Gases Pvt. Plot No. R-56 Rabale MIDC, Navi Mumbai. On Sunday night, due to an argument between accused Awadhesh Sridhar (aged 37 years) and deceased Ravindra Bhaskar Suradkar (aged 45 years) due to some reason, accused Awadhesh Sridhar first hit the labourer Ravindra Bhaskar Suradkar (deceased) with his fist and then hit him with hexa blade weapon near his private parts. He killed him by stabbing, causing serious injuries.

As soon as the police received the information about the incident, the police team reached the spot. A case of murder has been registered in this regard and as some eyewitnesses and Awadhesh fled from the scene after the incident, a case has been registered against them. Three teams have been dispatched to search for him, said Senior Police Inspector Sudhir Patil.
