It has been many days since Krishnan registered the ‘written complaint’ and still there seem to be no sign of any further investigation by the police which is a matter of concern.

Ever been in a situation where you lost a thing and rushed to retrieve it but suddenly realised in the process you forgot another thing behind and in the end, were left empty-handed. A similar incident happened with a person named Kishor Krishnan, in Mulund, except that he didn’t lose anything but was robbed. Not only the incident but also the investigation is shocking enough for the victim,  as the police haven’t still caught the culprit even after days.

As per the investigating officer, Kishor Krishnan is the resident of Chheda Nagar, Mulund and works in the company, Preceptor Pvt. Limited. On the night of the incident, Krishnan was heading back home in an auto rickshaw when he fell asleep during the journey. When he woke up, he looked around to find himself in a completely strange place.

When he inquired about the same with the driver, the driver responded grumpily. Krishnan asked the three people standing nearby, all of a sudden, one of them snatched his mobile and ran away. The other two men followed him and when Krishnan ran after them, the rickshaw driver fled away with Krishnan’s bag which contained of laptop and his wallet. The wallet had his debit card and cash worth Rs. 15,000.

Somehow Krishnan managed to reach Pant Nagar Police Station after walking for almost half an hour where he tried to lodge a complaint but the police asked him to come the next day. When he visited the police station next day, they once again asked him to come a day later. When he reached the police station on the third day, the poilce avoided him by telling that the officer was on rounds. Agitated Krishnan approached DCP office where he was asked to file a written complaint.
