Two courtrooms of the National Company Law Tribunal in Cuffe Parade were allegedly exposed to obscene tapes. This has been done by hacking the computer system and a case has been registered under the Prevention of Information Technology Act in Cuffe Parade Police Station. The Crime Branch, Cyber Police along with cuff parade police are investigating the matter.

Deputy Registrar (NCLT) Charan Pratap Singh himself has complained in this matter. According to the complaint, on two occasions on December 12 and 17, a user named Linda Z. According to sources, a user named Linda Z. Miller accessed the computer system for four minutes on December 12 at 1.08 pm and for 11 minutes on December 17. Preliminary investigation revealed that Johnathan Adam Amelia logged into the computer system for 29 minutes on December 17 at around 2.09 pm. The IP addresses of both have been obtained and the investigation is on. In this case, a case has been registered at the Cuff Parade Police Station under Sections 221, 294, 296 of the Indian Judicial Code and Sections 66 and 67 (A) of the Information Technology Prevention Act.

It is suspected that this was done with the intention of delaying the court proceedings. The Crime Branch and Cyber Police are also taking help in this matter along with Cuff Parade Police. As two IP addresses were found in this case, it is suspected that two persons are involved. Therefore, a case has been registered against two unknown persons.
