On Monday at Mankhurd, a man was stabbed to death over the repair of a mobile phone. In relation to this matter, four people have been arrested, reported the Indian Express.

Akbar Ali, the 24-year-old who succumbed, visited a mobile shop along with his brother to get the latter’s phone repaired in Mankhurd. Both of them, however, were not satisfied with the service and thus got into an argument with the shop owner and his friends that included four people. With the heated environment, a physical fight resultingly emerged.

According to the report, one of the accused went on to pull a skewer from a kabab shop in the vicinity and stabbed Ali in his chest. Although Ali was then taken to a hospital located nearby, he was declared dead when brought in.

Additionally, an officer from the Mankhurd police elucidated that a murder case has been registered. The four accused have been arrested, stated Prakash Choughule a senior inspector, based on the account. The officer is further said to have mentioned that the succumbed was a daily wage labourer, who had four cases registered against himself.
