The police are also planning to capture the miscreants with the help of news channel footage. Not only this, they are identifying them by their voices.

On Wednesday, after the declaration of the bandh in Mumbai, the Maratha Kranti Morcha (MKM) had protested at 45 places in Mumbai. However, due to violent agitation during the protest in Mumbai, police have detained 447 miscreants from different places for breaking the law by carrying out incidents of stone pelting, arson and vandalising public property in many places. Mumbai Police was heavily deployed beforehand to deal with the defaulters.

Besides, the police are also looking at the CCTV footages to arrest the agitators. The protestors engaged physically with the police as they pushed them, stone-pelted them and also set fire to the BEST buses. BEST's 23 buses have been damaged due to the violence. Even in other areas like Mankhurd, Dindoshi, Goregaon and Kandivali in Mumbai, the agitators sabotaged and vandalised vehicles.

At Mankhurd and Kalamboli police vehicles were torched as well as stones were pelted on the officers. Thane police commissioner Paramveer Singh said that Thane Police has arrested 20 people in the wake of violent agitation and also the others will also be arrested.
