Mumbai police's ‘Operation All Out’ leads to arrests of 123 wanted criminals

Mumbai police conducted a major crackdown on Tuesday night, resulting in the arrest of 123 wanted criminals. Out of these arrests, 95 individuals had non-bailable warrants issued against them. Operation All Out, which ran from 11:00 pm to 3:00 am also helped prevent thefts and armed robberies.


During Operation All Out, police teams conducted combing operations at 233 places and nakabandi was held around 100 spots. Of 8,168 vehicles that were examined, 5,747 were found violating traffic rules. Along with this, 782 hotels, lodges, and inns were checked.

As a result of the operation, 15 people were booked for drunk driving, and several offences were registered against those caught with illegal weapons and prohibited drugs. 35 persons were found in possession of hazardous weapons including knives, while 149 people were charged with violations of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. 68 people were detained for selling alcohol illegally, and 55 people were detained after 38 illegal enterprises were searched.

In an effort to keep the public safe, the police also questioned 173 people who were found engaged in suspicious activities. Mumbai police conducts Operation All Out at regular intervals aimed at ensuring the safety and security of the city's residents.
