Mumbai: Police found a dead body of 2-year-old in a plastic bag

The body of a two-year-old boy was found in a plastic bag in the Mahim area early on Wednesday. The police were immediately informed about this. A case of accidental death has been registered at Shahu Nagar police station.


The main control room of the Mumbai Police received a call around 5:00 am on Wednesday that the body of a child was found in a plastic bag on Sion-Mahim Link Road. Accordingly, the local police were informed about this. The police team arrived at the spot and upon inspection, they noticed there was a small boy in a plastic bag. He was foaming at the mouth. His head and right wrist were also gnawed by rats.


The police immediately took the boy to the Lokmanya Tilak Hospital in Sion. However, the doctors declared the child dead. The child has been identified and is two years old.  A case of accidental death has been registered at the Shahu Nagar police station and the police are conducting further investigation.
