Tilaknagar police on Tuesday raided a warehouse in Chembur that was manufacturing and selling counterfeit computer equipment under the name of a reputable company. In this raid, the police seized goods worth INR 83 lakh from the godown. The police arrested the manager and a tempo driver in this case.

A large quantity of printers and other materials from well-known companies were being sold from a warehouse in the Hanuman Chawl area on P. L. Lokhande Marg in Chembur. As soon as the company concerned received information about this, they contacted the Tilaknagar police. The police immediately formed a team.

After inspecting the area, the team raided the warehouse on Tuesday evening. During this, the police found printers and other counterfeit materials worth INR 83 lakh from various reputed companies there. In this case, the police arrested Narayan Vaviya, who worked as a manager at the warehouse, and Pappukumar Pal, a tempo driver.
