A young woman who came for a walk in Mumbai took a motorcycle directly to Bandra Worli sea link. When the police tried to stop the girl, she argued with the police and threatened them with a toy gun. A case has been registered against the young woman in Worli police station. The accused girl Nupur Patel (26) is a resident of Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh. She was not aware of the restrictions on the Worli-Bandra sea link. Patel had gone to Pune from Madhya Pradesh on her motorcycle to meet her brother.


After Pune she came to Mumbai for a tour. She wanted to see the Bandra-Worli sea link. When she was taking her bike on the sea link, she was stopped by the police. The police tried to stop the girl, but she went on without listening. However, the traffic police stationed there stopped her and detained her. When she was asked for the documents of the motorcycle, she claimed that the motorcycle belonged to her brother. Also started arguing with the police.

At that time, she threw a pistol-like object towards the police. After that, the police took her into custody and took her to the Worli police station. The Worli police registered a case under the Indian Penal Code for obstruction of government work, intimidation and negligent riding of a two-wheeler. Also, the young woman was arrested and the motorcycle seized. But she was released on bail when she was produced in court.
