Mystery Around Aryan Khan’s Drug Case Continues

On Monday, the vigilance team of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) investigating the corruption allegations levied against Zonal Director, Sameer Wankhede, recorded the statement of one of the panchas, Prabhakar Sail, on the drugs on cruise case, highlighted reports.

Sail had alleged that payoffs were spoken about by K P Gosavi, another witness for Aryan Khan, who had been detained by the authority.

According to an official, the Vigilance team is being spearheaded by Dy DG Gyanendra Singh visited three locations that were linked to the allegations. One of the spots was in Lower Parel wherein Gosavi is claimed to have met Pooja Dadlani, Shah Rukh Khan’s manager.

Later, the team went to Tardeo wherein it is claimed that money was exchanged. Next, the team went to the cruise wherein earlier, the NCB team had conducted the raid.

On the other hand, reports claim that Dadalani has been summoned by the Mumbai Police in regards to the extortion probe linked to the current drugs on cruise raid. It is believed that the SIT of Mumbai Police found CCTV footage of Dadlani meeting Gosavi and Sam D’souza in Lower Parel.

Last week, Gosavi was approached by the Bombay High Court looking for a pre-arrest bail, claiming that Gosavi had sought INR 50 lakh from Dadalani to release Khan. Accounts allege that the amount was given back post the arrest of Khan.

The SIT has taken over the investigation in six cases that included the drugs on cruise case.

Sail had appeared before NCB's vigilance team in Mumbai for questioning that started at 2 pm on Nov 8 and ended at 12:20 am on Nov 9, stated NCB Deputy Director General Gyaneshwar Singh. Sail alleged attained payoffs in the drugs-on-cruise case, for questioning for the second day today, mentioned the agency.

Singh elucidated that whilst certain spots were visited yesterday, Sail’s inquiry couldn’t be completed thus he was being spoken to again on Tuesday. He added that statements of two more witnesses were recorded on Tuesday with additional witnesses set to be examined in the days ahead.
