The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), in a recently held operation, exposed the drug factory run by the members of the D-Gang. As per reports, this was being operated on a hilly area in Mumbai by Anis Ibrahim, brother of Dawood Ibrahim, and smuggler Kailas Rajput. It is said that the officials from the NCB, during the operation, seized 12 kg of drugs and INR 2.18 crore in cash. The accused Arif Bhujvila (58), who runs the factory, is absconding and the NCB has issued a look-out notice to nab him

Officials have also cracked down on underworld don Dawood Ibrahim's accomplice Chinku Pathan. It has come to light that Pathan is a relative and accomplice of gangster Karim Lala. The NCB has been cracking down on drug trafficking in Mumbai for the past few days and during the same operation, they arrested gangster Pathan and his accomplice Nazim Haque from Ghansoli in Navi Mumbai.

NCB officials also found a large quantity of drugs and weapons in his house. Chinku had set up cameras in the alley and no one had access to the house. He had installed a biometric machine outside the house to prevent strangers from entering. Based on the information obtained from the operation, the NCB conducted an operation in Bhiwandi and arrested Rohit Verma, an important member of the gang. During this time, Rohit resorted to various methods to avoid arrest, whereby he harassed and insulted the citizens of the area. However, as nothing was going on in front of the NCB officers where he tried to escape by biting the officer's hand to escape. But he failed.

Within hours of arresting Pathan and Verma, the NCB launched a major operation at Noor Mazil in Dongri. The entire fifth floor whereby the team went to nab Arif Bhujvila, 58, a key facilitator in the smuggling. However, Arif fled the house after getting information and it is said that his family helped him escape.

The NCB would have raided Arif's house who had started a drug factory in a room in his house. NCB has seized 12 kg of drugs and 2.18 crore cash in the operation, and the drugs are totally valued at over INR 10 crore in the international market. NCB also found a revolver at Arif's house along with keys of eight to nine expensive cars. Besides this have found two to three diaries from Arif's drug factory have been seized as well, whereby he writes down drug-related transactions. According to NCB officials, Arif has been running for more than five years was enjoying with the money he made from smuggling these drugs.

Mumbai has become a hub for drug dealer circuit in the state and it is said that Arif was working for the drug mafia Kailash Rajput gang.

Kailash Rajput and Dawood's brother Anis Ibrahim are the main facilitators of this smuggling and till date, the gang was smuggling drugs using various methods from seven countries. Recently, the gang was going to send drugs to Dubai using a bag of sugar. However, this failed due to the action taken by the NCB.
