Bollywood’s  noted art director Nitin Desai committed suicide and ended his life at the age of 58. Now a big information has come out from the investigation of his suicide.


Nitin Desai committed suicide by hanging himself at his ND studio in Karjat. If reports are to be believed, he had taken a loan of INR 252 crore. Desai had trouble paying back the loan, and last week a bankruptcy court had admitted an insolvency petition against his company. 


According to the report of 'Times of India', an employee of the studio called the Karjat police station around 9:30 in the morning and informed that Nitin Desai had committed suicide. Then the police and their forensic team inspected the room where he hanged himself. Meanwhile, police have not found any letter written by Nitin Desai before suicide, but they have found some audio recordings.

Meanwhile, Nitin Chandrakant Desai's postmortem was conducted by a team of four doctors at JJ Hospital on Wednesday. According to the preliminary findings, the cause of death was due to hanging, Raigad police said. “A team of four doctors conducted the autopsy of art director Nitin Desai. According to preliminary findings, the cause of death was due to hanging. Further investigation is underway,” Raigad police informed.


Nitin Desai worked as an art director for many superhit films from '1942 A Love Story' to 'Jodha Akbar', 'Lagaan', 'Devdas, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam'. He also received four national awards.
