Fans are eagerly waiting for the release of Akshay Kumar's upcoming film 'Oh My God 2'. The film has been in the news for the past few days. Many objected to some of the scenes shown in the teaser of the film. Now the censor board is taking very careful steps regarding this film.


The revising team of the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) watched the film. Censor Board Chairman Prasoon Joshi himself was present at the screening. According to media reports, the makers of this film have been recommended 20 cuts by the Censor Board and have been given an adult certificate. Giving a film an A certificate means that children under the age of 18 cannot go and see the film in theatres.

In such a situation, the tension between Akshay Kumar and the producers of 'Oh My God 2' has increased. According to eTimes, a show cause notice has not yet been sent to the makers in this regard. The song which was released after the CBFC executive committee watched the film, the release date of the film was not revealed. With very few days left for the release, the final decision on the film's release date is likely to be taken by Akshay Kumar. But currently he is out of the country. In such a situation, it is being said that the film will have to be postponed.


Earlier this film was going to be released on OTT. According to reports, the makers were in talks with 'Jio Cinemas'. Maybe the deal was going to be done for INR 90 crores, but then suddenly it was decided to release the film in theatres. The film will be released on August 11.
