Haji Ali – Police seized old currency notes worth Rs 1.60 crore from a SUV car on Lala Lajpat Rai Road here on Wednesday. Police also arrested two persons in this connection.
According to police information, they received a tip off that some unidentified persons will come to Haji Ali area to exchange old currency notes on Wednesday night. Police laid a trap and arrested Sayar Mali (41) and Jaimin Vora (34) and seized Rs 500 and Rs 1000 currency notes from their SUV car.
