Passenger loses his arm due to a hit-and-run gang at Diva railway station

It has come to light that a thief pulled the mobile from the hand of a local passenger coming to the platform at Diva railway station and due to this the passenger lost his left arm from the shoulder as he fell down. The police have arrested the thief in this case. 


The passenger who lost his left arm has been identified as Shashikant Kumar (22). The name of the accused is Ganesh Shinde (29) and the police have arrested him. Passengers are expressing their anger due to the incident. Shashikant Kumar lives in the Ghansoli area of Navi Mumbai. On Sunday, he went to his sister's house in Vangani. From there he was returning home by local train at night. He was travelling by standing in the door. When the local train arrived at Diva station at 11:55 pm, Ganesh Shinde, who was standing on platform number two of Diva station at that time, hit him hard on the hand and pulled away his mobile phone. Due to this, he lost balance and fell down. After this incident, other passengers immediately caught Ganesh Shinde and handed him over to the police.

Shashikant's left arm came under the local and broke from the shoulder as it fell in the space between the platform and the carriage. Passengers admitted the injured Shashikant to the hospital with the help of the police. A case has been registered in Thane Lohmarg police station and Ganesh has been arrested by the police.
