Powai police have arrested the accused who used to sexually assault a girl after coming home to teach her Arabic language. The victim is now 17 years old and during school counseling she informed the authorities about the abuse committed by the accused 10 years ago. Accordingly, the police took this action by registering a case based on the complaint form given by the school.
A reputed school in Powai filed a complaint with the Powai Police on October 24. The Powai police took serious note of the matter and promptly registered a case and arrested the accused.
When the victim's minor daughter was seven to eight years old, the accused used to come to her home to teach her Arabic language. The accused used to give her a language task during the lessons. If the girl did not complete the task, the accused used to molest her. As the accused was a teacher, she did not dare to talk about it due to fear. However, she informed about her abuse during her school counseling.
