Borivali - Police has arrested trustee Mahendra Jain in regard with the theft of silver carriage from the Sambhavnath Jain temple. Theft was carried out in the supervision of Mahendra Jain.
For consecutive three years, the carriage was stolen and it was moulded into bricks and the brick were sold under everybody's nose. The carriage only has wood, earlier it used to be of silver.
Mahendra has been summoned into the court and will be in the police custody until 26 December. Police is probing further in the case to know where did they sell the silver they took out from the carriage.
