41-year-old railway guard A K Sinha who flashed at a 19-year-old girl at Ghansoli station on Tuesday was arrested on Thursday by the Vashi GRP. Accused Sinha was booked under IPC Section 354 (a) and was produced before the CSTM chief metropolitan magistrate. 

According to the complainant, while she was returning home at Koparkhairane in a Thane-bound train, she was travelling in the second-class compartment which was adjacent to the guard’s cabin. 

She got off at Ghansoli after she missed her station and according to her, when she was passing the guard’s cabin, Sinha called her and when she saw him, he flashed at her and made obscene gestures.

Acting on the complaint, police started looking out for Sinha who was on the run. Finally, the police laid a trap and arrested Sinha from CSTM.
