This real life spider-man climbed till the 12th floor of a multi-storeyed building to save a distraught mother and her one year old baby. On Wednesday evening, a fire broke out on the 10th floor of one of the buildings in the Kohinoor City housing complex. While most residents were escaping, one woman along with her one year old baby were stuck in an apartment on the 12th floor of the building. Fearing for her baby's safety, she was about to drop her baby on to the safety net below. That's when a passerby, Vinod Pawar saw the woman's distress and decided to help. He climbed up the building, retrieved the baby and climbed down the building using the pipes for support, baby in tow. Fire brigade officials were successful in saving three other women who were caught in the building. The fire was later brought under control.
