On Tuesday morning, a speeding tempo rammed into school kids at Malvani, Malad, killing one and injuring three in the process.
Out of the three injured, two are reportedly in a very serious condition. Muskan Memon (12) has lost her life while the tempo driver has fled the scene and police are looking for him.
These four kids stay around Malvani gate no.4 and had bunked school on Tuesday. They were headed towards Marve and when they reached the T-junction, a speeding tempo (MH 04 HQ 0702) rammed into them and then a rickshaw after which it got stuck in the woods.
The three injured are Neha Mevati (13), Kamal Mevati (12), and Bhupendra Mevati (9) who are siblings and are battling for their lives.
