Mumbai- The social service branch of the Mumbai Police has seized forged cigarettes valued at Rs 11 lakh.
During the raid, the police arrested two persons involved in making the cigarettes. A case of copyright violation has been lodged against both the accused, Murtuza Khan (49) and Nadir Noor Mohamed Sheikh.
Police have seized 200 boxes of Ruily River cigarettes, 275 boxes of Win cigarettes, 25 boxes of Paris cigarettes and cash amounting to Rs 11,00,500. Further investigation is on.
