Nawazu Karim had entered the women's coach of the Mumbai Local between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) and Masjid (Masjid) stations and molested the young woman. The accused Nawaju Karim Shaikh is seen walking around the station in the CCTV. This time, it is clear in the camera that he was deliberately teasing the women there. On the morning of the rape, he molested a total of 5 women at the station. Some videos about this are not only shared by Twitter users, but it is seen that he changed his path and pushed a woman even when there was no crowd. Unfortunately, none of these women filed a complaint with the police.

Meanwhile, when Nawazu molested a young woman in the women's coach, the said young woman lodged a complaint with the Railway Protection Force (RPF). The railway police had registered a case against an unknown person. A search team of RPF and Mumbai Police identified the accused on the basis of CCTV in Masjid station and arrested the accused on the same night.
