Now, NCB to summon Actress Deepika Padukone in drug case

The NCB said that it will be issuing summons to the Bollywood starts in connection to a drug case that leapt through the investigations into the SSR death case.

The names of top Bollywood stars including Shraddha Kapoor, Rakul Preet Singh,  Sara Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone have surfaced in connection with drug angle of the Sushant Singh Rajput death case. The drug angle of the SSR death case is being probed by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) which arrested Rhea Chakraborty earlier. 

The NCB said that it will be issuing summons to the Bollywood starts in connection to a drug case that leapt through the investigations into the SSR death case. Many big names have come in the drug case and notices for summoning will be issued during this week. 

NCB, the law enforcement and intelligence agency under the Union Home Ministry, has found the WhatsApp chat between Deepika’s manager Karishma Prakash and Jaya Saha who was the talent manager of Rhea Chakraborty. 

Recently, the NCB has found Shraddha Kapoor’s name along with two other film personalities has surfaced in the chats retrieved from Jaya Saha. Shraddha can be found asking for CBD oil. 

The NCB has arrested 21 people in the drug case related to Sushant Singh Rajput death case. These arrests have been carried out after the interrogation of Rhea Chakraborty who revealed that Sushant was in depression and also used drugs. 

The NCB will also quiz Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet and designer Simone Khambata. It is learnt that Chakraborty confessed that these actresses have consumed narcotics substance.
