A tragic incident has taken place in Palghar district. A wife committed suicide swallowing poisonous substances. Tired of being accused of infidelity, the woman committed suicide. Police have registered the complaint against the husband. The deceased woman identified as Sunita alias Priti Pintu Human (28) was the resident of Vikramgarh in Palghar district.
The husband doubted her character for past seven years. Sunita was rushed to the government hospital in manor but she died. Police have registered the complaint under IPC sections 306, 323 and 504. The accused husband was presented in the court. The husband will be in the police custody till 12 May.
