Kurla-A two and half year old lost his life in a gruesome accident in Thakkar Bappa area, Kurla on Thursday at 3 pm.
The toddler, Premchit Tara Singh, was playing with a toy when the toy slipped from his fingers and fell outside the house. When the toddler tried to climb down the stairs to get the toy, he fell headlong down the steps. He was rushed to the Chintamani hospital in Kurla where the doctors advised the parents to take him to another hospital with better facilities. By the time the toddler was admitted to Sion hospital, he breathed his last.
