In yet another incident, many investors were duped by Twinkle Envirotech company at Wadala. Attracted by the lure of doubling your money in a short period, many investors put in their hard earned money with promoter Om Goenka. After collecting the investments, the promoters of the company started avoiding communication with the investors.
When the investors tried to contact, there was no response. Though the company office was closed, there used to be regular movement of papers and documents from the office.
This made the investors suspicious about the firms actions and intentions. They decided to demand their money back.
One of the investors, Parminder Walia said that he had invest 1lakh INR with this company in 2012, he has not got any dividend nor his money.
Police had to intervene in this protest at the companies office.
Investors have demanded that the government and concerned departments should intervene immediately and help them get back their money.
