A double role is quite famous in Bollywood movies and we've laughed to movies like 'Judwaa'. But how about a judwaa auto rickshaw? Kandivali’s Samta Nagar police station registered a case of a duplicate auto whose number plate is the same as the other auto rickshaw. Now, the funny part is, one's crimes were the other's nightmare!
Khar resident Savita Gawde who hardly used to drive an auto, received a fine of INR 3.5k, the sum of six months. She went to the RTO to enquire but she did not get any help. Finally, she took help of Dahisar’s traffic police Palav who told her that her auto was fined INR 1000 for lack of papers on 12 July. When the traffic department started investigating, they came across another auto rickshaw with the same number plate who was actually guilty of breaking the law.
Traffic police inspector Palav informed Savita about it. The accused who was driving the auto was handed over to Samta Nagar police. Upon investigation, he informed that he did not know the owner. Police are now investigating the case and are trying to solve the problem.
