Wadala – Wadala TT police have busted a gang of car thieves who used to steal high-end cars from the plush areas of the city. The police arrested the gang on the basis of CCTV footages. The arrested accused are identified as Usman Sayyed (43) and Riyaz Ahmed Mehboob Khan (43) while two from this gang namely Rahim Khan and Shakil are reported absconding. These accused had stolen a Duster car from Bhakti Park Society on November 8 by using a duplicate key. Their action was captured in the CCTV that led Wadala TT police station’s senior police inspector Sushil Kamble to unearth the crime. When knowing that the accused were heading towards Pune, local police informed their Pune counterparts who arrested the accused.
