A Swift Dzire car driver Raj Kumar Patel was severely injured in a huge collision between a Range Rover car and Swift Dzire Ola car at around 3 o'clock on the Western Express Highway in Andheri. The injured driver was admitted to Cooper Hospital where his condition is said to be stable as of now. Nevertheless, the Range Rover car driver, on the other hand, has gone absconding ever since the accident happened.
According to information from sources, a woman driving the said Range Rover car seated with two other people who apparently escaped from the spot by taking an autorickshaw immediately after the incident. It has been inferred that the woman was going abroad after a week since the police got a passport from the spot. Yet the police are still refraining from commenting anything on this.
According to driver Patel, the trio in the Range Rover was heading towards Borivali via Western Express Highway Bridge, from Vile Parle. Hence, the SUV coming speedily from the Andheri station hit his car strongly, due to which the car swift car rotated three or four times. This hence, got Patel severely injured.
According to the eyewitness Ram Dular Mandal, 3 people were sitting including a woman in a white Range Rover car. Moreover, right after the accident happened, the three of them immediately fled from the spot in an autorickshaw. Added this, according to sources, the police have found a ticket for two people going to London on 19 May along with two passports.
