Tardeo- Tardeo police have nabbed a woman who looted four lakh worth jewelry in a police official’s home. Accused Priyanka Uttekar resided opposite to Narvekar’s and knew that Shweta’s husband is a police officer still she went ahead with her plan. She used to keep a tab on Shweta’s moves and knew where she kept her jewelry. With an intention of looting, Priyanka went to Shweta’s house and told her that she has some work with her husband. Upon hearing her husbands name, Shweta welcomed her home and went to fetch water for her. Seeing the opportunity, she forcefully imprisoned Priyanka in the bathroom and fled with jewelry worth Rs. 4 lakhs. When Shweta’s husband came home she told him about the incident. Immediately, he filed police complaint. Upon investigation, Tardeo police got to know that Priyanka was popuar for petty crimes in her area. They took her in custody. At first she denied then she gave in saying that she was influenced by the crime show 'Crime Patrol' and thought that she would never get caught.
