A man died after a slab of a building in Dongri fell on him on Monday morning. The structure, Kesarbai Building, was under-construction and on September 9, it killed a person and injured one other.

The incident happened in an under-construction building in the city's Dongri area. The deceased is yet to be identified whereas the injured have been shifted to JJ Hospital. On Monday morning, the victim had gone there for some repair work at the building with Shabbir Shaikh.

However, as they began their work, a slab fell from above killing one and injuring Shaikh, who is currently being treated at JJ Hospital. Earlier in July, 13 people were killed nine others sustained injuries after a portion of a four-storeyed building in Dongri had collapsed.
