Zaira Wasim molestation case: Court grants bail to accused Vikas Sachdeva

Vikas Sachdeva was arrested for molesting Dangal actress Zaira Wasim onboard a Delhi-Mumbai Air Vistara flight, the court has granted bail to Vikas Sachdeva on a surety of ₹25,000.

Today at the hearing of Zaira Wasim’s molestation case, Bombay High Court has granted bail to the accused Vikas Sachdeva who was arrested for molesting Dangal actress Zaira Wasim onboard Delhi-Mumbai Air Vistara flight. The court approved bail to Vikas Sachdeva on a surety of ₹25,000.

Vikas Sachdeva, a 39-year-old senior executive with an entertainment company was arrested on December 10. He was charged under Indian Penal Code IPC 354 and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POSCO). Accused was then sent to judicial custody until further trial.

Zaira Wasim had alleged that Sachdeva misbehaved with her. Posting a video story on Instagram she said, “Until I woke up to this pleasant sight of his beautiful foot rubbing my back and neck. Guess he could not sit like a civilized human being and placed his foot on my armrest while he is fully ‘phelaoed’ on his seat.”
