Under the scheme of development of basic facilities in the municipal area, with the efforts of MLA Pratap Sarnaik, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde will carry out a bhoomipujan of Bharat Ratna late Lata Dinanath Mangeshkar Sangeet Vidyalaya (Gurukul) on Sunday, November 19. It will be held at Reptocross reserved plot at Vartak Nagar in Thane municipal area. The Mangeshkar family will attend this event.
The Bhoomipujan ceremony will be held at the construction site of the school in Vartak Nagar. At the same time, the pedestrian bridge on the Pokhran Road no. 01 in front of Singhania School will also be inaugurated. After that, the main ceremony will conclude at Dr. Kashinath Ghanekar Theater at 11:00 am. Scientific cleaning and reconstruction of old wells in the city, as well as launch of project for strengthening and expansion of water supply distribution system in Vartak Nagar-Lokmanya Nagar, Ghodbunder area under Amrit 2.0 scheme, construction of digital boards, construction and beautification of musical fountains in ponds, beautification of roads, work of putting railings will be launched online in the main ceremony.

Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, Union Minister of State Kapil Patil, State Excise Minister and Thane Guardian Minister Shambhuraj Desai, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Minister Ravindra Chavan will be present. On this occasion, veteran singer Usha Mangeshkar, veteran singer and composer Meena Khadikar, veteran singer Adinath Mangeshkar, composer Mayuresh Pai will be a special guest.
