Actor Ali Merchant will be returning to the screen after eight years along with Nyrraa M Banerji in an upcoming show 'Libaas', which is a romantic murder mystery.
On playing the lead protagonist, Banerji shared, " I always wanted to be a part of a murder mystery and the fact that I am playing the lead protagonist who is the only witness to the murder, makes me excited to be a part of this mystery thriller. This is my first time collaborating with ULLU and I am looking forward to this association. Also, I'm really excited to work with our director Amit Khanna as well. We have just begun shoot and I am really nervous and elated all at the same time.!"
The show has just gone on floors for shooting in Mumbai. The web series also stars Krip Suri, Indraneel Bhatacharya and Vikas Verma.
Speaking about the upcoming show Vibhu Agarwal, CEO & Founder ULLU said, “This year has been very constructive and fruitful for us and as we enter the New Year, our aim still remains the same - to build our content library with more hi-profile shows. 2021 for us was about bringing quality content starring some of the most renowned actors and we continue to pace in that direction".
What happens when there is only one witness to a murder which in turn hampers his own security for life? Will the accused be found? Will the truth unfold? These questions will be answered soon as it will premiere on the ULLU app. The release dates are yet to be announced.
