Post the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, there have been many speculations regarding the projects that he has left pending and there has also been buzz about a movie being made on his life story. One such rumour claimed that Amazon Prime would soon be coming with a project based on the life of the late actor.

There was also buzz that the Pakistani actor Hasan Khan has been roped in as a lead in this project.

Now Amazon Prime has put all these speculations to rest by releasing a media statement that it is not working on any such project. The media statement notes, "Amazon Prime Video has not commissioned or licensed any project on the late Sushant Singh Rajput with actor Hasan Khan or for that matter with anyone else".

These rumours had started soon after the actor was found hanging in his Bandra house on June 14. What added to the buzz was a post on an unverified Instagram account of actor Hasan Khan. The post had a picture of Hassan along with Sushant Singh Rajput. The caption reads, ""Alhamdulillah got a project which is really close to my heart, playing @sushantsinghrajput's character for Indian Web"/

Sushant Singh Raput was an Indian actor who has worked extensively in Indian TV and Bollywood. Some of his memorable performances include the TV show Pavitra Rishta in which he played the character of Manav. He was also the part of movies such as Kedarnath, Raabta, Kai Po Che, Shudh Desi Romance to name a few.

On August 19, the Supreme Court had ruled that now CBI will be investigating the Sushant Singh Rajput case. The late actor was found hanging in his Bandra apartment on June 14. The Mumbai Police had ruled the cause of death as "suicide". Now with the case being handed over to the CBI, BJP is now targeting leaders in Maharashtra government.

One minister that has been targeted is State Home Minister, Anil Deshmukh. Since he had refused to transfer the case to CBI, BJP Vice-President Kirit Somaiya has demanded that he should take responsibility and now resign from his position. He also said, "Ab to Thackeray Sarkar ki Dadagiri khatam hogi" (Now, the strong-arm tactics of the Thackeray government will end).

Fans and well-wishers have been demanding a CBI probe in this matter for quite some time and they seem to be very happy with this verdict.
