Popular digital platform Amazon Prime Video is all set to release its original web series ‘Four More Shots Please’ starring Maanvi Gagroo as Siddhi, Bani J as Umang, Kriti Kulhari as Anjana and Sayani Gupta as Damini.

Anjana (Kirti) is a single mother who hasn’t had sex since the birth of her four-year-old daughter. Damini (Sayani ) is seen as a workaholic, who fancies masturbation and even daydreams about sexual intercourse. Umang (Bani) is a bisexual who seems to the coolest in the gang and Siddhi (Maanvi) who thinks that her mom (Simone Singh) hates her as she has scrutinised her love life and that’s the only reason of her being still virgin.

Recently, at an interaction session, Mumbai Live met this amazing cast who spoke about the series and shared their experience of working on such a bold one. While chatting with the actors what really caught our attention was the quirky title of the web series ‘Four More Shots Please’ which had many elucidations.

When asked the four friends about their interpretation of the title, the girls averred, “For me it like, there are four girls in the show who meet at the trunk bar which is regular hangout place where there meet either to celebrate something or discuss some problem. They have a habit of saying ‘four more shots please’ before the evening starts and after it ends, so like this never ending thing with them," said Maanvi Gagroo

"When I had heard the title, I was like 'kya baat hai daru bhi pite jaa rahe hai aur politely bol bhi rahe ‘four more shots please’ with different voice modulations, I found it very cute," added Bani

Furthermore Sayani said, "I heard the title right after I read the script, I knew where it was coming from but it is really representative of four women and the four women actually embodied a lot of other women, so each one of these women have many shades, it’s really an amalgamation of all those qualities, some flawed, some perfect, some imperfect there are traits in all these four women that are representative of women in general. I think that this show is written from that authentic real space because it also has created by a woman."

“When I read the title the first thing that struck to my mind was fun, a story which is being said in a fun way”, quipped Kirti.
