The film is a modern-day story of a carefree man, Jack, whose only passion is to read detective novels so he could write one of his own. However, the problem arises when the penniless Jack falls in love with the idea of buying a pug dog. To what extent will Jack go to own a dog? Throw in a couple that has trust issues and back to back dramas revolving the case, Jack and Dil is going to take you on a rollercoaster ride and keep you on your toes throughout.
