Fittrat Review: Aditya Seal and Krystal D' Souza starrer is a musical delight

Cast: Aditya Seal, Krystal D' Souza and Anushka Ranjan

Rating 3/5

Alt Balaji has been coming out with some interesting web series for quite some time now and they are now back with Fittrat. In Fittrat we have Krystal D' Souza and Anushka Ranjan are best of friends and end up falling for one guy Aditya Seal. When Ekta Kapoor started off with Balaji Telefilms, she had come up with a serial called Kabhi Sautan Kabhi Saheli, which was about two best friends who had lost touch over time, married to the same person. However, Fittrat is nothing even remotely similar to that. While Anushka Ranjan and Krystal D' Souza are childhood friends and their friendship means the world to them. However, Krystal D' Souza’s character, Tarini Bisht is a gold digger and she does not shy away from admitting that to the world.

Right in her childhood, Tarini assumes that the world revolves money and wants to marry someone rich to take care of her financial needs. However, love happens and she falls for Aditya Seal, who is not richi rich and also he is engaged to her best friend. As the story progresses, we get to see how their relationship evolves, the hardships Tarini has to face and what happens to their friendship.

There are a lot of twists and turns in the show that keep you hooked. One of the highlights of the show is Aditya Seal’s entry. Too bad, one had to wait till the fourth episode to see him. In addition to this, with this webseries Aditya has shown his versatility as an actor.

These are some powerful visuals in this webseries that stay with you after you watch the film. However, what is the best part is the songs. Every song is like a gem and one just can’t get enough of them. However, Manmuradein and O Panchi Re from this album are my absolute favourite.
