After tasting success with Mirzapur, Amazon Prime Video is all set to launch its next series, a light-hearted one, titled Four more shots, please. This is one of the few shows made entirely by women. Produced by Pritish Bandh production, this show revolves around four girls who are battling concerns and taking life as it comes.

The show stars Sayani Gupta, Kirti Kulhari, Bani J, Maanvi Gagroo and Lisa Ray. Along with the ladies, the show also boasts of three men - Neil Bhoopalam, Prateik Babbar and Milind Soman.

Talking about the same, Vijay Subramaniam, CEO, Amazon Prime India said, "Believe me, this show is my personal favourite. This story has many interesting aspects which are highly relatable. 2018 has been an endearing year for all of us. We have present a wide range of shows, where our success of originals is the highlight. We have constantly worked with content creators who wish to tell their stories. We will stay on the path of delivering stories of the highest quality. In 2019, we seek approval of the ability to tell stories with unique voices. I'm happy to start this year with Four more shots please."

Pritish Nandy, Filmmaker, and founder of the production house added, "I founded PNC 25 years ago with a purpose to try and make content that would be different. I thought that in most areas of audiovisual content, the audience was following the herd and I was keen to break it. We did the biggest of shows across genres, made 25 movies which have broken fresh ground and this one, after 25 years, focuses on the same ideology and it is a great deal to us. It's a show about the women and is really meant for men to watch. It addresses the forever asked question - what women want. Based on 4 women, the show is happy, dramatic, and talks about life, lust etc., which the audience will have a lot of fun with."

Content Head at Amazon Prime Video, Aparna, said,  "The narration of Rongita and Ishita gave was refreshing. The women are competitive, fierce and have a mind of their own. It relates to a lot of women today, and we were very sure to do it. All of us wanted to do it with a very clear female gaze. The team is largely women and it is a fearless bunch to put the story forward. This was exciting."

The show is directed by Anu Menon, who has earlier been a part of several popular content-driven films. "Directing this show has been the best experience of my career. We worked so well together. There was a constructive passion to work, a lot of integrity in the process. The writers, directors, and actors had infectious energy throughout," she said.

The show surely addresses the frequently asked question of what women want, and also help many women bag the courage to live their life to the fullest, despite the flaws. Four more shots, please will stream on the OTT platform from January 25, 2019.
