After peaking the intrigue of the audience with the individual posters and the teaser of their upcoming courtroom-drama 'Nail Polish', ZEE5 has finally released the trailer of the film. It rides on intense emotions and is sure to give you the chills.
Nail Polish is an intense, hypnotic mystery storyline in a courtroom that hinges on the uncertainty of the human mind. The trailer gives a glimpse of a uniquely constructed murder trial where the back story and the court proceedings are seamlessly interwoven into a journey of criminal discovery that leaves the audience guessing till the very end.
It is a story of Veer Singh (Manav Kaul) who is arrested for the heinous murder of 38 migrant children. Sid Jaisingh (Arjun Rampal), a high-profile defence lawyer is trying to get him off. But as seen in the trailer, suddenly, the case takes a crazy turn when Sid discovers that his client is not the man he thought he was defending, thus throwing the legal proceedings into a complete turmoil.
From the trailer, the show appears to be realistic, dark and intense.
Manav Kaul expresses on the Trailer Release of Nail Polish, “My character Veer is being defended by a lawyer named Sid which is played by Arjun. It’s not just a fast-paced courtroom drama, but also hinges on the uncertainty of the human mind. A one of a kind hypnotic mystery that sets the legal proceedings into a turmoil. Nail Polish is a tug of war between the mind and reality. This is a special film for me and probably the most challenging character I have worked on.”
During the virtual trailer launch of Nail Polish, Arjun shared, “Bugs allowed me to use my own process and dive deep into the character. Working cohesively with his wonderful process was fascinating for me“ On his parting words, he further added, “Nail Polish is releasing on ZEE5 on 1st January. It is the first film of 2021 and I want to say that 2020 has been a rough ride for everybody. We have tried our best to present a courtroom-drama that is entertaining, fast-paced and also hinges on the hypnotic mystery that will keep the viewers guessing till the very end. A labour of our hard work and is so relevant to what’s happening around in everyone’s life right now. A story that needs to be heard. Once the audiences watch the film, it is something that will not disappoint them.”
Director Bugs Bhargava Krishna expresses on the Trailer Release of Nail Polish, “Nail Polish is truly a heroic effort from all the actors and the crew. It was planned and shot when the pandemic was raging. ZEE5 stood by us staunchly through it all. The mystery then was would we finish the film at all. The mystery now is who is the man who looks like Arjun’s client, but is not his client. Find out on 1st January, 2021”
