After delivering success and garnering appreciation for his character in Amazon Prime Video's Inside Edge, ace Bollywood Vivek Oberoi will be seen in an international web series which will be a biopic on Swami Vivekananda.
The untitled show will be based on the life of Swami Vivekananda, the Hindu monk from India, who was the chief disciple of the 19th-century Indian Ramakrishna. Vivek will play the pivotal and titular character of Swami Vivekananda.
As per a source close to the project, he has been undergoing extensive research in order to get into the skin of the character and portray the same with accuracy and a renowned director is set to be roped in to direct the show, the details of which will be out soon.
The show will be aired across three seasons on an OTT platform. It is said that a team has been conducting extensive research for over a year and the show is currently in the scripting stage. This series is also being touted as one of the most expensive ones in the digital space.
The shoot for the same will begin early next year.
