 If you have been living in Mumbai, then you may a lot of memories associated with 26/11. It is one night that neither Mumbai nor the people staying here can ever forget. Now, Zee5 is making a web series on that and it is titled "State of Siege:26/11". The makers today dropped the trailer and it surely takes you back to the same night.

The narrative in the trailer does not show the story from any side, rather it showcases different aspects and reveals the many facts about the unfortunate 26/11 attacks and the untold stories of the brave NSG commandos.



State of Siege: 26/11 based on Sandeep Unnithan’s best-selling novel ‘Black Tornado: The Three Sieges of Mumbai 26/11 is an 8 episode series produced and created by Abhimanyu Singh of Contiloe Pictures and co-created and directed by Matthew Leutwyler. The show is all set to premiere on 20th March 2020.

 

The series unravels the untold stories and is a true to account narrative of the various events that turned into the prolonged terror siege of Mumbai on 26th November 2008.

The show features an ensemble cast comprising Arjan Bajwa, Arjun Bijlani, Vivek Dahiya, Mukul Dev, Sid Makkar and other key talents.

We spoke to Arjun Bijlani regarding his role in the series and he shared how it has been a one-of-its-kind experience. Talking about his character and the show, Arjun while talking to Mumbai Live shared, "While doing the show I got to know various nuances about the 26/11 attack that I did not know, like why the commandos did not get to Taj any sooner. It was an absolute honour for me to play this character which is based on Late Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan".

Zee5 has been coming out with some interesting web series in the past few months. They had recently launched the trailer of Mentalhood, that marks the comeback of Karishma Kapoor.
