Mumbai - State Government celebrates former president Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam’s birthday, 15th October, as ‘Vachan Prerna Din’. BMC has directed 2 thousand and 472 schools to celebrate ‘Vachan Prerna Din’. During the day, ‘Grantha’ procession is also scheduled. Along with this, noted authors and poets will converse on the subject ‘Hya Vachanane Mala Kay Dile’ (how reading has benifited me) with the students through a virtual classroom. “This year, students are going to read out 10 story books of 16 pages,” said Mahesh Palkar from BMC’s education department.
