In response to the recent occurrences of paper leaks and copy cases, Education Minister Vinod Tawde on Tuesday said that strict action will be taken against officials who change the time of the examination centre. Tawde had given a statement when MLA Vikram Kale had raised the issue of brilliant students suffering due to paper leaks and copy cases.
It was discovered that teachers and staff had a major role to play in paper leaks and copying. However, the minister has appealed to the teachers to cooperate with the issue and take strict action against such offenses for a better and copy-free Maharashtra.
Tawde announced that if there is a paper leak, the paper would not be changed at all the centres of the state but just where the leak has occurred. A separate set of question paper will be printed for this and the paper will be delivered wherever the paper is leaked. He made it clear that he would discuss this with the Board of Education.
The fight for marks has guided students to use immoral ways leading to paper leaks. However, Vinod Tawde said that at this point in time, the co-operation of the teachers is very important.
